Mumbai: The Powai police have booked a candidate for allegedly cheating in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) examination. The supervisor found a mobile phone, which the candidate, Shubham Patil, 28, had thrown into a dustbin. On the phone, 17 exam-related photos were found.
MIDC conducted the exam on August 9 at 9am at the TCS iON Digital Zone (TIDZ), Powai. At 9.40am, supervisor Sonal Masurkar saw a mobile-like object at a system where Patil was seated.
