Mumbai: Western Railway has announced the restoration of the original terminal station for Train No. 12935/12936 Bandra Terminus–Surat Intercity Express. Starting August 7, 2025, the train will once again terminate and originate at Surat Station, instead of Udhna, where it was temporarily rerouted due to ongoing infrastructural work.
New Timings Announced for Both Directions
The decision has been taken for the convenience of passengers. Train No. 12935 Bandra Terminus–Surat Intercity Express will now terminate at Surat Station at 10:35 am, instead of halting at Udhna.
Train No. 12936 Surat–Bandra Terminus Intercity Express will originate from Surat Station at 4:25 pm, bypassing Udhna altogether.
No Halts at Udhna in Either Direction
Officials have clarified that the train will no longer halt at Udhna Station in either direction. This change is expected to enhance operational efficiency and offer greater convenience to travelers boarding from the main Surat terminal.
