Mumbai Crime: Malvani Police Arrest 48-Year-Old Businessman With 6.4 Kg Ganja Worth ₹1.5 Lakh Smuggled From Visakhapatnam

The Malvani police on Friday arrested an individual for allegedly smuggling ganja and seized 6.398 kilograms of ganja worth Rs 1.5 lakh from him. On the night of July 4, the Malvani police were patrolling the area.

Mumbai: The Malvani police on Friday arrested an individual for allegedly smuggling ganja and seized 6.398 kilograms of ganja worth Rs 1.5 lakh from him. On the night of July 4, the Malvani police were patrolling the area.

During the patrol, in front of Darshan Building on Jankalyan Road, Malvani, Malad West, they spotted a suspicious individual. The police stopped him and, upon inspection, found the ganja in his possession. The police seized it, and during interrogation, he confessed that he possessed it for sale. The police then arrested him.

He has been identified as Parvez Ahmad Amiruddin Syyaid, 48, a businessman from Bihar. He had brought the 6.398 kilograms of ganja, worth Rs 1.5 lakh, from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
