Mumbai: 42-Year-Old Electrician Dies In Road Accident, Investigation Underway

The incident occurred around 8 AM when Dubey was traveling from Ghatkopar via Chembur towards Juhu. He worked as an electrician at a hotel in Juhu and was on his way to work at the time of the accident, according to the police.

Mumbai: Laxmikant Biharilal Dubey (42), a resident of Lallubhai Compound, Mankhurd, died in a road accident on Sunday morning, December 22. The incident occurred around 8 AM when Dubey was traveling from Ghatkopar via Chembur towards Juhu. He worked as an electrician at a hotel in Juhu and was on his way to work at the time of the accident, according to the police.

Tilak Nagar Police reported that Dubey fell from his bike in the middle of the road, resulting in his death. It is yet to be determined whether he was struck by an unknown vehicle or if another factor caused the accident.

The police conducted a post-mortem at Rajawadi Hospital and handed over the body to his family. An accidental death report has been filed under sections 106(1) and 281 of the BNS Act, along with sections 184 and 134 of the Motor Vehicles Act, against an unidentified vehicle driver.

The investigation is ongoing, and CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to gather further evidence.
