Mumbai: In a generous gesture of support, HDFC Bank has contributed 10,000 raincoats to the Mumbai Police on Monday, helping officers stay protected during the monsoon season. The donation was acknowledged and appreciated in an official post by the Mumbai Police on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

The post expressed heartfelt thanks to HDFC Bank, noting that the raincoats will greatly aid personnel who serve the city relentlessly, day and night, through all weather conditions. “Your thoughtful gesture is deeply appreciated,” the Mumbai Police stated, highlighting the bank's continued commitment to supporting those who safeguard the city.

This contribution comes at a crucial time, as the monsoon arrived in Mumbai, which often brings heavy rainfall and difficult working conditions for law enforcement officers deployed on the streets, traffic posts, and public areas. The raincoats will ensure that thousands of officers can perform their duties without being hindered by the monsoon. The Mumbai Police address their gratitude, acknowledging such contributions.

Mumbai Police also mentioned in a post that “We value your continued support and commitment to those who safeguard Mumbai,” the post concluded. This initiative underscores the importance of public-private collaboration in supporting civic bodies and frontline workers, especially during challenging weather conditions.
