The Taloja Industries Association (TIA) recently held a meeting with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to address concerns over power supply reliability in the Taloja MIDC industrial belt.
The meeting was held on Tuesday wherein the discussions focused on achieving uninterrupted electricity supply to ensure smooth an nnd efficient industrial operations.
Key Solutions Proposed to Enhance Power Supply
"A range of range of solutions, including installation of power quality meters for HT consumers with flexible payment options, separation of industrial and residential power grids, and timely implementation of key projects such as SSMR, RDSS, and the proposed SIDBI scheme was discussed," said a representative of the association.
Meeting Attended by Senior MSEDCL & TIA Officials
The meeting was chaired by MSEDCL Bhandup Zone Chief Engineer Sanjay Patil. The discussion also delved into renovation and modernization of the local MSEDCL office to better serve industries as a major agenda.
TIA President Satish Shetty, along with other office-bearers and member industries, actively engaged in the discussions. The MSEDCL delegation included Superintending Engineer D.R. Patil, Executive Engineer Jitendra Mane, Additional Executive Engineer Anil Mhaske, and Assistant Engineers Yogesh Sonawane and Manmohan Pokharkar.
