Mumbai: To mark the birthday of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) National President and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Dada Pawar, the party will observe a ‘Janvishwas Saptah’ (Public Trust Week) from July 22 to July 30 across Maharashtra. NCP’s Maharashtra State President and Member of Parliament Sunil, on Thursday, announced at a press conference.
Tatkare said that various citizen-focused activities will be held at the taluka, district, and village levels. These will include blood donation camps, along with health check-up camps for senior citizens and women. Given Ajit Dada’s strong commitment to the environment, tree plantation drives will be conducted under themes like ‘Harit Maharashtra’ and ‘Tree is My Shade, Tree is My Guardian’.
Special ‘Youth Motivation Camps’ will also be conducted to inspire and guide young people with essential knowledge and leadership insights. These youth camps will be held in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Amravati, and Nagpur. Additionally, women empowerment events will be organised to discuss education, self-reliance, microfinance, and skill training, and the prestigious ‘Ajit Dada Women Empowerment Awards’ will be conferred.
The party will also hold ideological conclaves to reinforce its philosophical foundation, rooted in the thoughts of Shivaji Maharaj, Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. These discussions aim to intellectually strengthen the party’s vision. Furthermore, ‘Ajit Dada Vikas Pradarshani’ will showcase developmental projects executed under Ajit Pawar’s leadership, bringing awareness of his work to the public.
To bolster grassroots engagement, the party will launch a ‘Rashtravadi Samvad Yatra’ – a mass outreach campaign where NCP leaders will travel through rural and urban areas, hold interactive chaupals in villages, listen to citizen concerns, and spread awareness about the party’s policies and programs.

Also present at the press conference were NCP Treasurer and MLA Shivajirao Garje, Women’s Wing State President Rupalitai Chakankar, Chief Spokesperson Anand Paranjpe, and State Spokesperson Sanjay Tatkare.
