IRCTC’s West Zone, Mumbai, has announced the launch of the Ashta Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra aboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, with departures scheduled from Solapur on July 19, 2025, and from Madgaon on August 5, 2025. This spiritual journey has been specially curated for the holy month of Shravan, offering pilgrims and travellers a seamless and enriching travel experience.
The Bharat Gaurav Tour Packages are part of IRCTC's initiative to make religious tourism more accessible, combining comfort, affordability, and cultural immersion. Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone, said, “Our goal is to make travel more accessible and enjoyable, ensuring every trip is a memorable one. These packages are designed to offer convenience, comfort, and affordability, giving people the opportunity to explore the best of India during Shravan.”
According to IRCTC, all-inclusive tour package starts from approximately Rs 22,760 per person ex-Solapur and Rs 23,880 per person ex-Madgaon. The trains feature a mix of Sleeper (Non-AC), AC III Tier, and AC II Tier coaches with a total capacity of 600–700 passengers. The exteriors are decorated with vibrant depictions of Indian culture, including monuments, dance forms, and landmarks. Onboard amenities include infotainment systems, CCTV surveillance, and a fully-equipped pantry car serving fresh meals.
