In a major move to transform the housing landscape of Navi Mumbai and Raigad, CREDAI MCHI YOUTH — the youth wing of real estate developers under 40 — is set to organize a first-of-its-kind redevelopment exhibition on Sunday at the Exhibition Centre in Navi Mumbai. The event which has free entry for all, will run from 10am to 6pm.
"The exhibition will feature participation from 30 leading developers from Navi Mumbai and will be attended by over 750 housing societies from the Navi Mumbai and Raigad region that are actively exploring redevelopment options. The goal is to provide a transparent and solution-oriented platform for direct interaction between housing societies and developers," Amit Haware, Immediate Past President of CREDAI MCHI YOUTH and MD and CEO of Haware Properties.
The builders have informed that there is a confirmed attendance from 750 plus housing societies who are looking forward to getting their societies redeveloped. "One-on-one meetings between society members and developers have been arranged along with expert guidance on legal and regulatory processes of redevelopment. It is the first time that the developers are themselves inviting the people to come and clear the doubts," Ricki Thomas from EV Homes and committee member, said.
The exhibition cum seminar is said to have support from key government bodies including MMRDA, NMMC, PMC, and CIDCO as well. "There would be representatives from the corporation as well in case the citizens have any doubts to be cleared," Haware added.
Jitesh Agrawal, President of CREDAI MCHI YOUTH and Managing Director of Anant Builders, emphasized the larger vision of the event, stating, “This exhibition is not just about redevelopment; it’s about reshaping the future of Navi Mumbai. We aim to empower societies to make informed decisions while facilitating meaningful collaborations.”
“This initiative stands for trust, transparency, and progress. Redevelopment isn’t only a business opportunity — it’s a social responsibility to ensure citizens have access to safer, more modern homes,” Agrawal added.
