Indore (Madhya Pradesh): 9 people died in a horrific road accident in Jhabua district after a trailer overturned on a car on Wednesday.
This incident took place near Sanjeli railway crossing between Thandla-Meghnagar in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh.
Around 2 o'clock on Wednesday night, a trailer overturned on a car near a turn near an under-construction over bridge, all the 9 deceased people died on spot and 2 people were injured.
Four children died in accident
The victims of the accident were members of two families who were returning from a wedding ceremony. Four children, three women and two men died on the spot. One woman and one girl were injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The deceased people identified as Mukesh Khaped (40), his wife Savli (35), son Vinod (16), daughter Payal (12), Madhi Bamaniya (38), Vijay Bamaniya (14), Kanta Bamaniya (14), Ragini Bamaniya (9) and Akali Parmar (35). Payal Parmar (19) and 5-year-old Ashu Bamaniya were injured and have been admitted to hospital.
Bodies taken out by cutting the van
According to the information, the construction of an over bridge is going on above the Sajeli railway gate. The trolley coming from the front was at a very high speed. The eco van was coming from Meghnagar. Then the trolley dragged the van for some distance.
The van overturned in a ditch and the trolley fell on it. All the people got buried in it. The bodies and the injured were taken out by cutting the van with a JCB machine and cutter.
The villagers say that the company working on the under-construction over bridge had not installed the signs, due to which the accident happened. Immediately after this, the company installed the signs.
