Mandleshwar (Madhya Pradesh): A grand display of national unity and love for the country unfolded on Friday as over 5,000 people, including more than 3,000 women, participated in a massive Matrushakti Tiranga Yatra from Mandleshwar to Maheshwar under the leadership of MLA Rajkumar Mev.
A remarkable highlight was the enthusiastic participation of Muslim women, who waved the national flag and raised slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” reflecting a strong message of unity and brotherhood.
The march was held in honour of Indian Army officers Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh for their leadership in ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pakistan. The yatra began with a flag-hoisting ceremony and passed through main routes of the Maheshwar constituency. It concluded at the historic Vijay Stambh, where MLA Mev thanked all participants for their overwhelming support and patriotic spirit.
Tiranga rally to honour Army
A grand Tiranga rally was held in Gram Panchayat Sarwan to celebrate the historic success of Operation Sindoor and honour the valour of Indian Army.
Led by Mandal president Bheru Singh Ninama, hundreds of citizens, including youth, women and children, marched with Tricolors, chanting patriotic slogans. The rally began from the main Panchayat at noon, passed through key village routes and concluded with the national anthem and aarti.
