Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Police destroyed 59,271.11 bulk litres of liquor worth Rs 1.9 crore, seized in 98 cases under various police stations, on Sunday and Monday.
DIG and Dhar SP Manoj Kumar Singh said DGP Kailash Makwana gave directions to all SPs in a state-level review meeting regarding destruction of liquor kept at police station for years.
In compliance with the order, destruction of illicit seized liquor kept at police stations for the last 11 years from 2014 to 2024 took place under the guidance of IG Indore (rural) Anurag and DIG Indore (rural) Nimish Agrawal.
Illegal liquor worth crores of rupees seized over the years was destroyed in Dhar, Pithampur, Dhamanod, Kukshi, Manawar, Badnawar, Sardarpur regions of the district.
Summer camp begins at CM Rise school
Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): The summer camp at CM Rise School, Dhar, commenced with the National Anthem under the theme ‘compassionate, learn, create and connect with society’ on Sunday.
Over 200 students from KG to Class 10 participated. Principal Dr Smriti Ratna Mishra inaugurated the camp and addressed students about the harmful effects of excessive mobile use. Activities included making paper bags from old newspapers, mehndi cone preparation, painting and local games.

Students learned creative skills in a fun, interactive way. A final-day exhibition will showcase and sell items made by students to foster self-reliance. Parents appreciated the initiative, praising its value for their children's learning. The event was conducted by teacher Anandilal Bamaniya.
