Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Sthanakvasi Jain Conference has organised its oath-taking ceremony on Sunday. The event marked the formal installation of newly elected leaders in the presence of delegates and community members from across the state.

The ceremony was led by Vishwat committee chairman  Ramesh Bhandari, who administered the oath to provincial president Hullas Betala. All India Sthanakvasi Jain Conference general secretary Dr Amit Rai administered oaths to general secretary Piyush Jain, senior vice president Mukesh Raka, women’s wing president Sunita Chhajlani and youth wing president Suvidhi Zaveri, along with all attending office bearers.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav joined the programme virtually. He reaffirmed his commitment to forming a Jain Kalyan Board to safeguard ancient Jain manuscripts, protect temples and ensure the well-being of monks and nuns. He invited the leadership under Mukesh Raka to his residence for further discussions.

Dr Amit Rai appealed for government-allotted land to build 'Vihar Dhams' resting places for Jain monks who travel on foot during their religious journeys.

President Hullas Betala announced a two-year service roadmap including the development of Vihar Dhams. Chhajlani emphasised cultural values for future generations, while Zaveri proposed equipping Vihar companions with medical kits for monk safety.

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt commitment and unity, coordinated by general secretary Piyush Jain and women’s secretary Kiran Sirolia.
