Indore: Penalty Slapped On 9 Tehsildars, Four Panchayat Secretaries

The collector disclosed the action in the meeting of the inter-departmental coordination committee

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Collector Asheesh Singh slapped a penalty on 13 officers, including 9 Naib Tehsildars and Tehsildars and 4 gram panchayat secretaries on Monday.

The officers failed to resolve cases within the time limit prescribed in the Public Service Guarantee Act. Collector Singh has instructed all officers and employees to work efficiently to avoid such action.

The collector disclosed the action in the meeting of the inter-departmental coordination committee that looks after the Time Limit (TL) resolution of cases. The collector reviewed the implementation of the government schemes and campaigns in detail.

CEO of Smart City Project Divyank Singh, district panchayat CEO Siddharth Jain, CEO of Indore Development Authority (IDA) RP Ahirwar, additional collectors Rinkesh Vaishya, Roshan Rai, Nisha Damor and senior officers of various departments were present in the meeting in which pending cases under the Public Service Management Guarantee Act were reviewed.

Penalty were imposed on Naib Tehsildar Sanwer in 14 cases, Naib Tehsildar Khudel in four cases, Naib Tehsildar Manpur, Malharganj and Gautampura in three cases each and Naib Tehsildar Bada Bangadda in two cases. Similarly, a penalty was imposed on Tehsildar Khudel, Kanadiya and Naib Tehsildar Betma in one case each.

Similarly, a penalty was also imposed on the secretaries of Sandal, Kalibiloud, Bai and Barlai Jagir gram panchayats of the district in one case each. The penalty will be recovered from these officers and employees at the rate of Rs 250 per case.
