Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Sogani family of Aerodrome police station area has complained to the Commissioner of police Santosh Kumar Singh, alleging repeated threats and attempts to forcibly occupy their land in Chhota Bangarda, which they claim to have owned since 1994.

According to the family, their 5-acre plot in Chhota Bangarda has remained undisputed and in their possession for over three decades.

They stated in their complaint that a neighbouring plot (Khasra No 90) was sold to a developer, who completed a colony adjacent to their land without dispute. However, the original owner of Khasra No 90 allegedly sold non-existent land, misrepresented as part of Sogani property, to one Lokesh Jain.

The family claims that two official demarcations confirmed Jain’s land did not overlap theirs, instead, their own plot was found to be 4,800 square feet short.

The complaint alleges that Jain has since pressured them to sell their land and on August 4, he arrived with 50 to 60 people, including women, vandalised property and assaulted its security guard.

They have filed multiple complaints at Aerodrome police station since 2023-2024. The family has urged immediate police intervention to protect their property rights, prevent further illegal interference and take legal action against those involved.
