Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Students from Gyan Ganga School, Harda, won the state-level Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz. Indore's Sandipani Ahilya Ashram Girls Higher Secondary School No. 1 bagged the second spot, continuing the streak for the second year in a row.
Divya Vishwakarma and Sarika Gaur from Gyan Ganga, Harda clinched the first position. Similarly, Khushi Gaur (class 12), Divyanshi Geete (class 11), and Nishtha Patil (class 10) from Sandipani Ahilya Ashram Girls Higher Secondary School secured the second rank.
The competition, organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department to encourage awareness of tourism, heritage, and culture among students. Over 260 schools from across the Indore district, including CBSE, ICSE and State Board institutions, participated.

The three students topped the initial phase, a written round featuring 100 multiple-choice questions. In the subsequent multimedia round, they delivered a consistent performance and placed second in the overall ranking.
The quiz took place under the supervision of the Indore district administration. District collector and DATCC president Ashish Singh, district panchayat CEO Siddharth Jain, diet principal Manglesh Vyas, educationist Kapil Srivastava, and district science in-charge Chellani were present during the event. The winning students were awarded gold medals, certificates, and a tourist trip voucher.
At the school, the trio was congratulated in a ceremony attended by staff, students, and parents. The principal, Ramesh Kumar Sen, said that the students demonstrated strong potential and that educators must commit fully to nurturing such talent.
The vice principal, Vipin Kumar Jain, attributed the team’s achievement to teacher Goldy Karare, stating that her dedication beyond regular duties served as an example to others.
