Burhanpur: Ward boy molests patient at district hospital, arrested

On getting a complaint, civil surgeon Dr Pradeep Mojesh wrote a letter to Lalbagh Police on Friday, and the police nabbed the culprit.

Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident, a ward boy (contractual worker) working at District Hospital, Burhanpur, was arrested for allegedly molesting a female patient admitted to the hospital during night hours.

He used to expel the kin of the woman and molest the patient. A complaint was submitted to hospital management against the ward boy. Following the complaint, a woman employee caught the suspected man around two days ago, but he managed to escape from the scene. On getting a complaint, civil surgeon Dr Pradeep Mojesh wrote a letter to Lalbagh Police on Friday, and the police nabbed the culprit.

Lalbagh police station-in-charge AP Singh called other ward boys at the police station on Saturday and told them that there would be absolutely no compromise as far as the security and safety of the female staff or patients was concerned and told them that strict action would be taken against any molester.
