What BJP's Sukanta Majumdar Said?
BJP MP Sukantqa Majumdar launched a scathing attack on the TMC. He alleged that the TMC government in West Bengal is protecting such “anti-social goons".
"Listening to this viral phone conversation, it becomes clear how the terrifying anti-social elements are carefully protected under the blanket of affection of the state's irrepressible and powerful Chief Minister!" Majumdar said in an X post while sharing the purported audio clip.
"The skinned tiger of Birbhum", whose brain occasionally suffers from oxygen deprivation - what language is he speaking to a police officer!," he added.
"And what impact will this conversation have on the administration once it becomes public? The official will either be closed down within 48 hours, or transferred to the Sundarbans!" the BJP MP stated.
Targeting the Mamata Banerjee government, Adhikari said that what will happen to the common people in the state if the police themselves are not protected.
He demaded an investigation into the matter.
