Hyderabad, August 02: A shocking incident occurred in Hyderabad, when a speeding school bus hit a biker after which the rider died on the spot. The horrific incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the bike got hit by the speeding school bus on an intersection.
There are reports that the incident occurred in Miyapur on Friday (August 1). The victim has been reportedly identified as DN Raju who worked as an in-charged in the lab at Calcium Hospital in ASR Raju Nagar located in Nizampet. He was struck by the Global Edge school bus which was speeding at the intersection which falls under the Miyapur Police Station area.
The incident was caught on the dashcam of a vehicle which was coming from the other direction. The entire incident can be seen in the video. The video shows that the biker is coming from the opposite direction of the car. When it reaches the intersection, suddenly a speeding bus comes from the right side and hits the biker at high speed.
The biker falls at some distance as the impact was strong. A woman rushed out of the bus to check on the accident victim. The helper from the bus also gets down to check on the victim and the driver slowly reverses the bus.
The video of the incident has been shared by the Telangana Police on its official social media account and said, “School bus drivers who transport children must drive patiently and slowly. School managements should appoint diligent drivers, and parents should also check once. This incident, which caused a death, occurred within the Miyapur station limits.”
The police team reached the spot after the incident occurred and sent the dead body of the deceased victim to Gandhi Hospital mortuary. They have registered a case in connection with the matter and initiated an investigation into the matter.

They are examining the CCTV footage of the incident and also trying to check the bus driver's negligence and the school's responsibility into the matter. The police have urged caution among school bus drivers by sharing the video online. Police have also reminded drivers to follow speed limits and ensure the safety of both passengers and pedestrians.
