Bengaluru, August 03: In a shocking incident, a Lamborghini Aventador which is a luxury sports car worth nearly ₹9 crore, caught fire on a street in Bengaluru on Saturday (August 02) evening. The incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that minor blaze is emanating from the sports car and the people present at the spot are trying to douse the fire. The incident created panic among the bystanders. There are reports that the car belongs to social media influencer Sanjeev, popularly known as Nimma Mane Maga Sanju on Instagram, as per reports from NDTV.
The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media. The video shows the bright orange coloured luxury car is on fire and bright flames and smoke is coming from the rear of the supercar. Passers-by gathered around as people tried to alert the owner and call for help. They are also seen in the video trying to control the fire using fire extinguisher.
Luckily, no one was seriously injured. Initial reports suggested that the car had been completely gutted, but Sanjeev later posted a clarification on social media stating that the damage was minor and under control.
Authorities are yet to confirm the exact cause of the fire. Luxury cars like the Aventador, which can reach speeds over 300 km/h, have their engines in the rear which makes them more prone to fire risks if overheating or technical faults occur.

Traffic in the area was briefly affected as the fire was brought under control. The incident has drawn massive attention online. However, the fans are relieved that the influencer escaped unhurt in the incident.
