New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party's national president JP Nadda on Friday accepted the resignation of Telangana MLA T Raja Singh from the party with immediate effect.
"This is reference to you letter No. 1041 Dated 30th June, 2025 written to Shri G. Kishan Reddy ji, President, BJP Telangana State, regarding your resignation from the party," the letter read.
The letter further read, "The aforesaid letter has been brought to the notice of Hon'ble National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji. The contents mentioned by you are irrelevant and do not match to the functioning, ideology and principles of the party."
Singh announced his resignation from the party on June 30. Sharing a copy of his resignation letter addressed to Telangana state president dated 30 June, Raja stated, "The silence of many should not be mistaken for agreement."

Upset Over Change In State Leadership
Singh was upset over the BJP’s decision to appoint senior leader N. Ramchander Rao as the new Telangana state unit chief and this is why resigned from the party.
"There are many capable senior leaders, MLAs and MPs within our state who have worked tirelessly for the BJP's growth and who possess the strength, credibility and connection needed to lead the party forward. Unfortunately, it appears some individuals, driven by personal interests, have misled the central leadership and made decisions while operating behind the scenes. This not only undermines grassroots workers' sacrifices but risks pushing the party into avoidable setbacks," the three time MLA had written in his letter.
