Lucknow: Twenty two Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers in Uttar Pradesh have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The promotion was made following a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India. The state’s Appointment Department has released a formal order in this regard.
Among those promoted are Bhanu Pratap Yadav (Additional Commissioner, Saharanpur), Vidhan Jaiswal (Exam Controller, UPSSSC), Rajesh Kumar Singh (Secretary, GDA), and Balram Singh (CDO, Siddharthnagar). Other names include Shailendra Kumar Bhatia (Special Officer, YEIDA), Devi Prasad Pal (Deputy Secretary, UPPSC).
Anju Lata (Secretary, Moradabad Development Authority), and Jaynath Yadav (Joint Director, Disability Empowerment).

Also promoted are Vinod Kumar Gaur and Vivek Kumar Srivastava (Deputy Secretaries, UPPSC), Sachin Kumar Singh (Joint Director, Mandi Parishad), and Basant Agrawal (ADM Finance & Revenue, Hathras).
Officers from Ayodhya, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and Lucknow are also included in the list. All promoted officers have been directed to assume charge under the senior pay scale of the IAS with immediate effect.
