Malayalam actor Bala's former wife, Elizabeth Udayan, shared a rather disturbing video from her hospital bed in the wee hours of Wednesday, and stated that if she died, then the actor should be held responsible. She accused Bala of cheating on her and abusing her, and also claimed his family supported him in his acts.
In the video, in which she can be seen with a tube inserted in her nose, Elizabeth revealed that she had sent a letter to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan narrating her ordeal, but in vain. She also said that she has exhausted all her funds by paying up lawyers to fight her case against Bala.

'Will I get justice before I die?': Elizabeth
"Will I get justice before I die?" Elizabeth wrote on Facebook, along with her video, in which she said, "I couldn’t bear many things. They made threatening videos and filed counterclaims asking me to protect my family and calling me a money-sucking parasite. They said we weren’t married when he said otherwise. If I die now, that person will be fully responsible.
"I fought as hard as I could for justice. I have had enough, paying a lawyer to appear in the case. Now I feel like filing the case was a mistake," she added.
She concluded the video saying, "If I die, it will be because this man cheated me, he physically abused me, defamed me in the media, not only him but his entire family. We both got orders not to interfere in each other’s lives, and yet he continues to threaten me."
While Elizabeth did not reveal the reason behind her hospitalisation, Bala too has not reacted to the accusations.
Bala's past marriages and controversies
Bala and Elizabeth were married in 2021, but in 2024, the actor claimed that they had separated. He even said that their marriage was not legal, and called Elizabeth "sick". She, on the other hand, accused of abuse, sexual assault, and infidelity.
Meanwhile, in October 2024, Bala got married for the third time, and revealed that his present wife, Kokila, was also his "relative". "This marriage fulfils a dream that Kokila has held onto since her youth," he had said, announcing his wedding.
In 2024, Bala was also arrested after his first wife, Amrutha Suresh, had accused him of defaming her and causing her emotional distress.
