Actress and social media personality Uorfi Javed, known for her bold fashion choices and outspoken personality, surprised fans once again, this time with a spiritual gesture. On Monday (May 5), the Bigg Boss OTT fame visited Mumbai's iconic Babulnath Temple and chose to climb its stairs on her knees.
In a video shared on her Instagram story, Uorfi can be seen ascending the temple steps slowly, dressed in a casual yet modest outfit with her head covered in a dupatta.
Captioning the video, she wrote, "Climbed Babulnath Temple on knees. The only struggle was the dupatta." Check out here video here:
This isn't the first time the actress has undertaken a physically challenging journey to a temple. In January 2025, Uorfi had revealed through an Instagram post that she had climbed 400 steps to visit the Kambeshwar Mahadev Temple in Sheoganj, Rajasthan.
She had offered prayers and shared visuals from the serene location. Her gesture was widely appreciated, with netizens praising her for her spiritual dedication.
Though widely known for her unconventional outfits, Uorfi has frequently expressed her personal spiritual journey. Coming from a conservative Muslim family, she has openly spoken about her views on religion and freedom of belief.
In a previous interview with India Today, she said, "My father was a very conservative man. He left me and my siblings with our mother when I was 17 years old. My mother is a very religious woman, but she never forced her religion on us. My siblings follow Islam and I don't, but they never force it on me. That's how it is supposed to be. You cannot force your religion upon your wife and children. It should come from the heart, otherwise neither you nor Allah would be happy."
Uorfi has also read the Bhagavad Gita to understand more about Hinduism and once stated that she would never marry a Muslim man.
On the work front, Uorfi continues to be active in the digital entertainment space. She recently appeared as a mentor on the reality web series Playground, and opened up about her personal and professional life in her show Follow Karlo Yaar.

The actress has also featured in several television shows, including Puncch Beat Season 2, Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga, and Bepannaah. However, it was her stint in Bigg Boss OTT, hosted by Karan Johar, that catapulted her into the spotlight.
