A teaser of Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar was released on Sunday, July 6, 2025, on the actor's 40th birthday. A lot of Bollywood celebs posted about it on social media and wished Ranveer. However, the actor's wife and actress, Deepika Padukone, has not shared anything on social media about Dhurandhar, nor did she wish him Happy Birthday.
On Reddit, a user shared a post that read, "Deepika didn't even post Ranveer's new movie look or something and didn't even wish him happy birthday, meanwhile Ranveer always goes goo goo gaa gaa for her. Maybe she should appreciate her husband a little (sic)." The user captioned the post as, "Isn't deepika being hypocrite?"
Well, the fans of the actors quickly jumped into the discussion and slammed the user and supported their favourite stars. A Reddit user commented, "So much overthinking here, I had a relationship where I was very vocal on social media about my partner but he wasn't. Behind closed doors he financially supported me to get my first job, my career stands on his support. So was I really a better partner to him or just that we were different? (sic)"
