Salman Khan has finally announced his new film Battle of Galwan, months after the failure of Sikandar, which featured Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. On Friday (July 4), the actor took to his social media handle to unveil the first look, where he appears in a blood-soaked avatar, sporting a thick moustache that reminds fans of his iconic Sultan look.
Salman’s face appears bloodied and scarred, his eyes burning with rage as he grips a barbed weapon wrapped in wire. He’s dressed in a rugged uniform with snow-dusted textures, adding to the raw intensity of the look. The look is accompanied by the powerful words, "Over 15,000 feet above sea level. India fought its most brutal battle without firing a single bullet."

The film features Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Harshil Shah, Heera Sohall, Abhilash Chaudhary, and Vipin Bhardwaj. However, the makers have not yet announced a release date.
The Battle Of Galwan is set against the backdrop of the 2020-Galwan Valley conflict and will be based on the best-selling novel, India’s Most Fearless, where Salman will play the role of an army officer.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the film is likely to go on floors in July 2025, with a 25-day schedule planned in Ladakh, followed by a marathon shooting stint at a studio in Mumbai.
"A lot of action sequences will be shot at real locations in Ladakh, followed by the extension shots at a studio in Mumbai. Salman has allotted bulk dates to the film, and the team intends to call it a wrap by November 2025," the source added.
The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
