Punjabi actress Tania’s father, Anil Jit Singh Kamboj, is currently in critical condition after being shot by two unidentified men at his clinic in Kot Ise Khan, a town in Punjab’s Moga district. The attack occurred on Friday afternoon.

According to Punjab Mania, eyewitnesses reported that two men arrived on a motorcycle and entered Harbans Nursing Home, where Dr. Kamboj was attending to patients. Posing as individuals seeking medical treatment, the assailants allegedly engaged him in conversation before opening fire.
Dr. Kamboj sustained two bullet injuries and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Moga. He remains in critical condition and is currently battling for his life.
Police Suspect Planned Targeted Attack
The report also revealed that Tania's father had been receiving threats leading up to the attack, though no official complaint had been registered, as per police sources.
Superintendent of Police (Moga) said, "The assailants came with a plan. They approached Dr. Kamboj posing as patients, then fired at close range. We're investigating all possible angles, including extortion threats."
Clinic Sealed, Search Teams Deployed
The police have sealed off the nursing home, restricting access while the forensic teams collect evidence from the scene. Authorities are also examining CCTV footage from nearby areas to trace the movements of the suspects and identify them.
To ensure a quick arrest, special police teams have been deployed, and checkpoints have been set up across the district.
