Bollywood actress Sadia Khateeb recently completed a challenging four-day shoot inside Vietnam's Son Doong Cave, known as the largest cave in the world and one of the most dangerous natural environments on the planet. The shoot was part of her upcoming action film Silaa, co-starring Harshvardhan Rane and directed by Omung Kumar.

Sadia and the film crew spent four days deep inside the cave without access to basic amenities such as electricity, mobile network, or washrooms. The team reportedly faced extreme humidity, pitch darkness, and stretches of silence that added to the intensity of the experience.

The cave, located in Vietnam's Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, is typically accessible only to trained explorers under strict supervision.

Despite the challenging conditions, the shoot went ahead as planned.

Sharing her experience, Sadia said, "Grateful beyond words to Omung Sir for choosing me as Silaa and giving me the experience of a lifetime, being part of the first feature film ever shot inside Vietnam’s Son Doong Cave. We’re among the first 100 Indians to enter this natural wonder, and this makes me feel so proud and elated."

Experts note that shooting inside Son Doong Cave is not just difficult - it can be potentially life-threatening. Typically, the cave is accessible only to trained adventurers under strict permits, making this film shoot an unusually risky and demanding undertaking.

Sadia was later honoured with a medal and certificate in recognition of being the first Bollywood actress to shoot inside the cave.

Sharing a video of the same on Instagram, Sadia wrote, "This makes me feel so proud and elated 🥹Thank you Oxalis adventure for making the most difficult looking journey the most thrilling journey for all of us ! I felt like a spider woman 👩 Feeling stronger than ever before, never knowing this side of strength in me and that’s the best feeling ever."

Silaa is said to feature Sadia in a bold, action-packed role, marking a new direction in her film career. The release date of the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
