Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s younger son, Mark Shankar, was injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore. The incident caused burns to the 8-year-old’s hands and legs, and smoke inhalation also affected his lungs. On Wednesday, the Bheemla Nayak actor issued his first statement, sharing a health update on his son and revealing that Mark is 'gradually recovering.'
Pawan Kalyan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for calling him and offering encouragement during this difficult time. "Mark Shankar is gradually recovering. Upon learning about the incident, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji personally called and expressed concern about Mark’s health, giving us courage."
"He also instructed the High Commissioner in Singapore to provide all necessary support. I am deeply grateful to him. Honourable Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu ji also called and spoke, wishing for Mark Shankar’s speedy recovery. I extend my heartfelt thanks to him," added the actor.

Furthermore, Pawan revealed that leaders and party workers held special prayers in temples, praying for his son Mark Shankar's good health. He added, "With heartfelt blessings and good wishes from so many people, Mark Shankar is gradually recovering. I sincerely thank each and every one of you."
On Tuesday night, Chiranjeevi and his wife, Surekha, accompanied his brother Pawan Kalyan to Singapore after Mark Shankar was injured in a school fire.
Pawan also met the media, revealing that his son will undergo bronchoscopy after smoke inhalation.

Mark Shankar is the youngest son of Pawan Kalyan from his third marriage with Anna Lezhneva, born on October 10, 2017.
The couple is also parents to their daughter named Polena Anjana Pawanova.
