Rapper Raftaar called out Canadian rapper Genesis Yasmine Mohanraj, popularly known as Tommy Genesis, over her controversial music video True Blue, in which she was seen disrespecting both Hinduism and Christianity. In the explicit video, she appeared with her body painted blue, wearing a red bindi and traditional gold jewellery, seemingly portraying a Hindu goddess. The video also featured her licking a Christian cross and posing with it near her posterior, sparking widespread outrage.
On Sunday, Raftaar took to his Instagram Stories to report Tommy Genesis' music video on YouTube. He stated, "This is a mockery of my religion. This shouldn’t exist," as the reason for flagging the video. He also urged his followers to do the same, calling on fans to report the video in hopes of getting it removed from the platform, adding a clear message, "Report This."
