Four Years Later is an Australian-Indian upcoming series that examines the path of love, grief, and self-discovery throughout nations. In this eight-episode Australian-Indian series, we track a couple who thrive in an arranged marriage despite challenges of time, distance, and societal pressures. The eight-episode which first premiered in Australia last year on SBS, is set to be released in India on July 11, 2025, exclusively on Lionsgate Play.

About Four Years Later

The streaming platform shared the poster of the series on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Four years later coming soon on Lionsgate Play #FourYearsLater #4YearsLater." The series runs across eight episodes, and it will be available in English. Four Years Later is helmed by Mithila Gupta and Fadia Abboud

Plot overview

Four Years Later narrates the tale of Sridevi and Yash, a recently married pair, who endure a prolonged separation as Yash travels to Australia for a medical internship. The series delves into their struggles to sustain their relationship despite the distance, emphasising the emotional and social pressures they encounter as individuals and as a couple.

The series features Shahana Goswami as Sridevi, Akshay Ajit Singh as Yash, Taj Aldeeb as Jamal, Kate Box as Gabs, Roy Joseph as Arun, Luke Arnold as Matt, Philip Quast as Dr Sandy Green, and Yohan Philip as Rohit, among others. The series is produced by Ian Collie, Rob Gibson, Stephen Corvini, and Mithila Gupta under the banner of Easy Tiger Productions. The screenplay of the series is written by Mithila Gupta, S. Shakthidharan and Nicole Reddy.
