Fresh off the roaring success of Saiyaara with debutant Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda is the talk of the town! The film is not only winning hearts but also dominating the box office. Now, buzz is that Aneet is gearing up for a gritty courtroom drama headed to OTT. Interestingly, like her co-star Ahaan, Aneet is also currently bound by a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films.
Aneet Padda To Star In Courtroom Drama
According to Peeping Moon, Aneet will star opposite Fatima Sana Shaikh and Arjun Mathur in a fictionalised series inspired by real-life incidents. The actress reportedly shot for the project in 2024, and it is expected to release soon on OTT. In the series, Aneet takes on a gritty role as a 17-year-old who fights for justice after being sexually assaulted by a powerful spiritual leader. Fatima Sana Shaikh, meanwhile, plays a determined police officer.
Aneet, who won hearts with her portrayal of the soft-spoken, heartbroken songwriter Vaani Batra in Saiyaara, is set to make a dramatic shift with her intense new role in Nyaya.

Nyaya has been directed by Baar Baar Dekho fame Nitya Mehra, along with her husband, filmmaker Karan Kapadia, who also directed Big Girls Don’t Cry, which featured Aneet. This marks their second collaboration with the actress. The show also stars Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles.

Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film has earned ₹44.5 crore over its second weekend so far. In its opening week, Saiyaara collected ₹172.75 crore and is now set to enter the ₹200 crore club within just two weeks of its release.
