Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt made her debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in the French Riviera as the Global Ambassador for L'Oréal Paris. Currently in Spain to attend her best friend Tanya Saha Gupta's wedding, the actress shared new photos from her time in Cannes and additionally confirmed her appearance at the festival in 2026.
On Wednesday, Alia took to her Instagram handle and wrote, "Cannes-dids. okay bye, see you next year." One of the photos features her posing with stylist Rhea Kapoor and other members of her makeup and hair team, while the other photos capture her candid moments.

For day 1, Alia donned a Schiaparelli haute couture gown. Later for the dinner party, the actress wore a dazzling navy blue Armani Prive backless dress that was showcased in their spring/summer 2025 line.
While for the closing ceremony of Cannes 2025, the Student Of The Year actress stunned in a custom Gucci gown with embroidered crystals in a GG Monogram pattern.
On the work front, Alia will be reuniting with her Gangubai Kathiawadi director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Love And War, which stars her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in the lead.
She also has Alpha with Sharvari, which is Hindi cinema's first female-led YRF Spy Universe film. The film will be directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra.
The actress was last seen in Vasan Bala's Jigra, alongside Vedang Raina in the lead.
However, the film did not perform well at the box office.
