Actress and proud wife Anushka Sharma was over the moon as Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru restricted Punjab Kings to a meagre 101 runs in the first Qualifier of IPL 2025. The actress was seen giving the team a standing ovation and jumping with joy in the stands as PBKS lost all 10 wickets.
RCB bowlers paralysed Punjab Kings and got all their batters out in only 14.1 overs, and Anushka couldn't help but laud the heroics of the men in red.
The actress kept it casual in a white shirt and jeans, as she cheered for Kohli from the stands along with the couple's friends. While Kohli went all out on the field, Anushka did not shy away from showing her excitement and joy in the stands.
On the other hand, PBKS owner Preity Zinta, who is usually seen flashing her brightest smile and dimples in the stands, seemed to be in a rather gloomy mood, thanks to her team's disappointing performance in the first half.
Anushka has been a regular in the stands this IPL season, and she has been a constant support for Kohli even off the field. The two were seen playing a round of pickleball with other RCB players in their dressing room a few days ago, and like partner in life, the actress was the batter's partner in the nets too.
Meanwhile, Kohli has been on a run-scoring spree this season, and if RCB wins the first qualifier match against PBKS on Thursday, then they will become the first team to reach the IPL 2025 finals.
