Alanna Panday Gets Emotional While Watching Brother Ahaan Panday's Saiyaara Teaser: 'Waited So Long For This Moment' (VIDEO)

Alaana Panday emotionally reacted to her brother Ahaan Panday’s debut film teaser, Saiyaara, released Friday. Sharing a video on Instagram, she wrote, “Watching my baby brother’s movie teaser was overwhelming.” Directed by Mohit Suri, Alaana appeared visibly moved and almost speechless. The film stars Big Girls Don’t Cry fame Aneet Padda as the female lead.

Ananya Panday's cousin, Ahaan Panday, is gearing up for his much-anticipated Bollywood debut with Mohit Suri's upcoming film Saiyaara. The movie also stars Aneet Padda, known for her role in Big Girls Don’t Cry, as the female lead. On Friday, May 30, the makers released the first teaser, where Ahaan appears to portray a rockstar, hinting at an intense love story filled with romance and heartbreak.

Hours after the teaser was unveiled, Ahaan's sister-content creator, Alanna Panday, shared a heartfelt reaction, getting emotional and almost speechless while watching her brother on screen for the first time. She wrote, "Watching my baby brother’s movie teaser for the first time was overwhelming. We’ve waited so long for this moment."

Saiyaara will be released on July 18, 2025 in theatres, clashing with Anupam Kher’s Tanvi The Great.

Who is Ahaan Panday?

Born on December 23, 1997, Ahaan is the son of Chunky Panday's brother Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday. 

He has studied at Oberoi International School in Mumbai for his primary education and later graduated from the University of Mumbai.

Ahaan worked as an assistant director on movies like Mardaani 2, Rock On 2, Freaky Ali and the popular Netflix series The Railway Men.

Earlier in 2024, Ahaan met Ed Sheeran where he got his guitar autographed. Taking to Instagram, Ahaan treated fans with a series of photos featuring himself and Ed Sheeran along with a note.

The note read, "Been prepping on this guitar for my debut film and now I have it bless-Ed by none other than @teddysphotos."

Sharing his excitement after meeting ED, Ahaan said, "Meeting Ed Sheeran is a dream come true. For my film preparation I've been running all over the place in the hope to shadow & find inspiration from musicians, and getting to meet the best of the best while on that journey is a blessing of the highest regard."
