Samsung may unveil its next-generation foldable phones on July 9. The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the upcoming event. Samsung hasn’t made any official announcement yet, but a leak suggests that the event will begin at 10.00am EDT (7.30pm IST). Rumours suggest that the event will take place in New York.
Tipster Evan Blass has leaked that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on July 9. If this is true, Samsung is likely to send out invites for the official event soon. Alongside the foldable phones, Samsung is also rumoured to launch the Galaxy Watch 8 series and the new Galaxy Buds at the event.
Samsung, in its multiple teasers, has confirmed that the new foldables will come with improved AI tools. The phones are touted to be the thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldables yet’. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to be powered by the Exynos 2500 processor, wheread the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may be powered by the Snapdragon Elite processor. There may be a Fan Edition (FE) variant of the foldable devices too.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series may include the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) models.
