Mumbai News: Zomato Leases 84,000 Sq Ft Office Space In Andheri For 5 Years At ₹1.34 Crore Per Month

The contract includes a 60-month lock-in period for the licensor and a 36-month lock-in period for the licensee. A 15% rent escalation is scheduled after 36 months.

Mumbai: Food delivery giant Zomato, through its subsidiary Eternal Ltd, has leased six office units spanning a total of 84,000 square feet at R Square in Andheri, Mumbai. The lease agreement, signed with Histyle Retail Pvt Ltd, is for a period of five years.

According to official documents, accessed from CRE Matrix - A Real Estate Data Analytics Firm', the starting monthly rental for the space is set at Rs 1.34 crore (₹1,34,65,120), with a security deposit of ₹8.07 crore (₹8,07,90,720). The lease includes 57 car parking slots.

The contract includes a 60-month lock-in period for the licensor and a 36-month lock-in period for the licensee. A 15% rent escalation is scheduled after 36 months.

In addition, common area maintenance (CAM) charges are pegged at ₹18 per square foot of chargeable area.

The move signals Zomato’s continued expansion in Mumbai and comes amid growing demand for large-format commercial spaces in prime business districts.
