Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): We are having at least 10 faces which are capable to become chief minister, said leader of opposition in parliament Rahul Gandhi, here in a meeting on Tuesday.
While addressing the meeting with MLAs, one of the MLA Abhay Mishra raised about a question of CM faces.
Reacting on the question Rahul stated that the Madhya Pradesh is the state where several leaders are present and in a first pick at least 10 leaders are CM face.
He further said, "A battle of ideology is going on. On the one side is Congress and the Constitution of India and on the other side is the BJP and RSS who do not believe in it (Constitution) and want to destroy it".
He alleged BJP and RSS have taken over all institutions in India and put their people in these bodies.
"They are slowly strangling the country. The first battle is for the Constitution. On the one side is Congress and its ideology and on the other side is the RSS standing against the Constitution," he said.
Later addressing a joint press conference by state in-charge Harish Choudhary, Jitu Patwari and leader of opposition Umang Singhar, the leaders briefed media persons about the day-long events.
They said Rahu Gandhi had directed the adoption of the Telangana model for conducting a caste census. He also suggested ways to elect booth, mandal and district presidents and conclude this exercise in a definite time frame.
Breach of security
Breach of security of Rahul Gandhi was seen at several places where his car was stopped while coming to PCC office from airport.
At several places the Congress leaders had raised the welcome gates, the party leaders like Manoj Shukla reached near the car and asked to open the window, when the window was opened, he gave a book of Constitution to Rahul.
Trouble makers will be shown door
Answering a question about ex-MLA Laxman Singh and other party leaders who supports BJP from backdoor, Harish Choudhary said that Rahul had given them free hand to take decision against the party traitors, “Shortly everyone will see action of the party against such leaders”.
