Seoni (Madhya Pradesh): A video from Seoni district in Madhya Pradesh has gone viral on social media, showing the students struggling to cross a damaged and muddy road on Monday.
In the video, girls from Kanyashala (Government Girls' School) can be seen walking through deep mud on the road between Rampuri and Katiya villages.
They are walking with their bicycles, their shoes in hand, trying not to slip. One girl’s school bag falls into the mud, while others have their uniforms and legs completely covered in dirt.

The video has caught the attention of many, highlighting the poor condition of rural roads and the daily problems faced by students.
A girl recording the video can be heard saying, “Look at the condition of these children. Look at their clothes. The road is not being repaired. Today I will show the full path to everyone.”
She walks along the road filming every part of the route to show the public and authorities how bad it is.
Following the video's circulation, local residents and online users have started tagging government officials and demanding urgent repairs.
Despite repeated complaints from villagers in the past, the road has remained in poor condition for months.
A few days ago in Singrauli, a newborn baby died after her mother, pregnant with twins, was carried on a cot through a rough path due to the absence of a road and ambulance service. One of the twins could not survive because of the delay in reaching medical help.
In Guna, a woman was taken on a bullock cart to reach an ambulance after giving birth at home. The muddy road prevented the ambulance from entering the village.
