Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): A member of Gram Raksha Samiti landed in a serious problem after posting a social media reel with a pistol inside the Budhni police station premises in Madhya Pradesh's Sehore.

According to reports, the accused Swaroop Yadav, a resident of Rehti, made a reel with a pistol inside a police station and shared it on social media. The youth can be seen flaunting the weapon in the viral video.

Gram Raksha Samiti membership suspended

The video, which surfaced online recently, quickly went viral and prompted swift action from the authorities. Superintendent of Police suspended Yadav from the membership of Gram Raksha Samiti with immediate effect.

Further, the process of cancelling his arms license has also been initiated, considering the misuse of a licensed weapon and breach of conduct.

The incident triggered serious questions about how the accused gained access to the premises with a weapon and was able to record the reel without objection. An internal inquiry meeting is underway.
