Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Opposition Congress continued their protest on day-5 of the ongoing Monsoon session, raising one issue a day. The opposition MLAs emphasised problems faced by the farmers due to fertiliser shortage across the state on Friday.
Led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, the Congress legislators entered the Madhya Pradesh Assembly premises carrying sacks of fertiliser and symbolic bottles of nano-fertiliser to highlight the issue.
The Monsoon Session started on July 28 and will continue till August 8.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Congress is determined to underline various issues persisting in the state, one by one, on each day.

Congress Rakes Up Col Sofiya Issue
A clash erupted inside the Assembly hall as well. The opposition raked up Colonel Sofia Qureshi issue as minister Vijay Shah stood to reply to the questions asked by Congress MLA Arif Masood during the Q&A hour.
As he tried to present a justification, Congress MLA Phool Singh Berraiya interrupted and demanded Shah’s resignation saying that he had insulted the Indian Army Officer Colonel Sofia Qureshi in the past, and therefore, he must be sacked.

Congress is middle man of China Pakistan: Vijayvargiya
As the clash became uncontrollable, Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar adjourned the house till 1 pm. However, even after the adjournment of the house, opposition Members continued the sloganeering.
As the Congress demanded the resignation from Minister Vijay Shah, Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya hit back sharply. He accused the Opposition of acting as an agent for China and Pakistan, escalating the political tension further.
