Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal division is continuously taking effective steps for the safety and assistance of railway passengers. In this series, the work of finding and returning the lost goods of the passengers is being done continuously under 'Operation Amanat'.
In the same sequence, RPF constable R. Madhusudan was on duty near pole number 7 of platform number 2, where he found a brown color trolley suitcase lying unclaimed.

The passengers present nearby were questioned, but no passenger could claim it as theirs. Thereafter, the suitcase was opened in the presence of the passengers, in which silver anklets, toe rings, waistband, jhumka, gold mangalsutra, a Vivo company mobile, a camera stand and some clothes were found. Their estimated value is about Rs 2 lakh was assessed.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria informed that the said luggage was immediately brought to “Rail-Resub” ( Railway-Resubmitting) Post Bhopal and the information received from the complaint lodged on "Rail Madad" was matched.

Complainant Ravindra Goswami, resident of Barkheda, Bhopal informed that he was travelling by train number 22146 Express and after alighting at Bhopal station he did not know whether his suitcase was left in the train or on the platform. He lodged a complaint on the Rail Madad app.
After this, Dinesh Goswami, a relative of the complainant, reached “Resub” Post Bhopal with Aadhar card. After confirming the identity from the Aadhar card and talking to the owner Ravindra Goswami, the said valuable luggage was handed over by Assistant Sub Inspector Raghavendra Singh in the presence of two witnesses.
