Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Water supply issues in the MTH Hospital were resolved by the MGM dean during his visit to the hospital for inspection on Wednesday.

Dr Arvind Ghanghoria, dean of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College reviewed the current infrastructure, listened to staff and patient concerns, and issued directives for improvement.

During his visit, Dr Ghanghoria was briefed by assistant superintendent Dr Nilesh Dalal about ongoing water supply issues in the hospital. Taking immediate action, the dean contacted municipal officials directly and facilitated a prompt resolution of the problem.

He said, “My priority is that patients should leave not just cured, but with a positive experience, never feeling like they visited a government hospital.” He reaffirmed his commitment to continuously improving services and facilities.

As part of his inspection, the dean also visited the OPD (Outpatient Department) where he personally interacted with patients, folded hands in greeting, listened to their concerns, and issued on-the-spot instructions to the staff.

He reviewed the complaint boxes and registers, inspected the registration counter, and ensured proper functioning of patient support services.

Security concerns raised by staff were also addressed, with Dr Ghanghoria assuring an increase in security personnel at the hospital. He instructed teams to ensure effective implementation of public welfare schemes, such as the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and issued strict orders for timely redressal of grievances registered through the CM Helpline.

Dr Ghanghoria also reviewed the ongoing free HPV vaccination drive at the hospital. The HPV vaccine, which protects young girls against genital warts and cervical cancer, is being actively administered under the leadership of Dr Nilesh Dalal and Dr Sumitra Yadav.
