Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In order to avoid rush, ensure hassle-free booking, facilitate passengers, and redistribute peak traffic over a larger range during festival seasons — as well as ensure two-way utilisation of trains, including special trains — it has been decided to introduce an experimental scheme named “Round Trip Package” for festival rush on a discounted fare.
This scheme will be applicable to passengers who choose their return journey during the prescribed period, as detailed below:
1. Under this scheme, rebates shall be applicable when booking both onward and return journeys for the same set of passengers. Passenger details for the return journey will be the same as those for the onward journey.
2. Booking start date shall be August 14 for the ARP date October 13. The onward ticket shall be booked first for train start dates between October 13 and October 26, and subsequently the return journey ticket shall be booked using the connecting journey feature for train start dates between November 17 and December 1.
The advance reservation period will not be applicable for booking of the return journey.
3. The above booking shall be permissible only for confirmed tickets in both directions.

4. A total rebate of 20% shall be granted on the base fare of the return journey only.
5. Booking under this scheme shall be for the same class and the same O-D pair for both onward and return journeys.
6. No refund of fare shall be permissible for tickets booked under this scheme.
7. The above scheme shall be allowed for all classes and in all trains, including special trains (trains on demand), except trains having Flexi fare.
8. No modification will be allowed on these tickets for either journey.
9. No discounts, rail travel coupons, voucher-based bookings, passes, or PTOs, etc., shall be admissible during return journey booking on concessional fare.
10. Both onward and return journey tickets must be booked using the same mode — either internet (online) booking or counter booking at reservation offices.
11. No additional fare collection will be performed, if any arises during charting, for these PNRs.
