Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana has issued an important order amid the tussle between the police officers and the public representatives in different parts of the state.
Now, the police officers have to salute the MPs and the MLAs along with the chief minister and ministers.
DGP wrote the police officers and employees in uniform should salute the MPs and the MLAs at the events organised by the government or in any general function.
The officers should reply to the letters written by the MPs and MLAs on time, the order said. According to the order, the letters should carry officers’ signatures. Whenever an MP or an MLA comes to the office of any officer should attend to the law-makers as a top priority, the DGP said.They should also solve their problems according to laws, the order said.
If an MP or an MLA calls up any police officer for any problems, the official concerned should listen to the problems with care. They should politely answer to law-makers’ questions, the DGP said.
According to sources, DGP issued the order after receiving instructions from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.There were reports of tussles between the police officers and the lawmakers.

There are tussles between MLA of Katni Sandeep Jaiswal and SP Abhijeet Rajan.
Similarly, TI of Mauganj made some comments on legislator Pradeep Patel. Patel went to the police station on Thursday.
Legislator of Narmadapuram, Sitasharan Sharma, has also opened a front against the police officers.
Likewise, Pichhore legislator Preetam Lodhi has disputes with SP of Shivpuri Aman Singh Rathore.
