Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): MLA Narayan Patta raised the issue of Kanha Tiger Reserve forest employees not getting the Naxal allowance and special allowance, stating that resentment is brewing among the staffers.
Taking up the issue during the Zero Hour in Assembly on Wednesday, the legislator stated that the forest employees of the reserve have been seeking Naxal allowance and special allowance as they worked tirelessly in odd conditions to protect the jungles as well as combat Naxal problem.
For the last many years, Kanha Tiger Reserve has remained sensitive due to Naxal activities, the forest employees deployed at the Kanha reserve have been demanding special allowance, the MLA said.

Sardarpur stadium sanction hanging in balance
Dhar MLA Pratap Grewal took up the issue of the emerging football players of Sardarpur (Dhar district) who are being forced to undergo training on ground sans basic amenities in absence of any proper stadium. The MLA informed the House that a girl from Sardarpur has risen to lead the Indian football team.
Even as 310 players represented the state and more than 155 players, most of them tribals, have brought laurels to Sardarpur at National level but the sanction of Sardarpur stadium is still hanging in balance.
Government not keeping OBC side firmly
Congress MLA Sachin Yadav said that the government is not presenting the side of backward classes with determination on 27 % reservation. He demanded to immediately restore 13% of the reserved posts currently put on hold.
