Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): Panic grips Madhya Pradesh's Lahar as heavy firing breaks out between two rival groups on Wednesday. Leading to the death of a 46-year-old man.
The incident unfolded near Purani Chungi of Bhind's Lahar, where a 46-year-old man was shot in the head and back. The man has been identified as Monu Chaudhary who died on the spot after being shot.
According to the police, an altercation broke out between Monu and his rivals, from the Dubey family, with whom he had a long-rivalry.

According to eyewitnesses, on Wednesday, Monu was going towards his house when he was interrupted by few miscreants from the Dubey family. They started abusing him, accusing his family of supporting their rival, Sanjeev Chaudhary.
Things escalated when, someone from Dubey's side fired gunshots in the air. Upon hearing this, Monu's family and supporters also reached the spot armed. Now, what began as an abusive brawl turned into a gun-firing warfare. An intense exchange of gunfire lasted nearly for 20 minutes, with over 30 to 40 rounds fired from both sides.

During this, Monu was struck by two bullets, one in the head and one in the back. Due to heavy firing, his aides had to take a longer route to the hospital. but doctors declared him brought dead.
Bhind SP Asit Yadav confirmed the incident and said "One youth has died in the firing and another is reported to be critically injured. The matter is being investigated seriously. The police have collected evidence from the spot and the search for all the accused has been initiated."
