Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the Madhya Pradesh Jan Vishvas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill 2025, which seeks to amend 44 provisions of 20 Acts relating to 12 departments.
The other Bills the Cabinet gave a nod to are: the Madhya Pradesh Arbitration Authority (Amendment) Bill, the Legal Help and Legal Advice (Repeal) Bill 2025, the Industry (Madhya Pradesh Amendment) Bill 2025, and the Madhya Pradesh Taxation (Amendment) 2025. The Legal Help and Legal Advice (Repeal) Bill 2025 is meant for the weaker sections of society.
Nod to Mohasa Babai Industrial area Phase II development
The Cabinet approved the development of Mohasa Babai Industrial Area Phase II on 1,034 acres of land near Phase I of the electrical and renewable energy equipment manufacturing zone in the Narmadapuram district. The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation owns this land.
Out of the land earmarked for Phase II, 750 acres have been reserved for the manufacturing of electrical and renewable energy equipment. Industries setting up their units will get various facilities. The plots will be allotted at a 25 % premium of the prevailing land value.
Meanwhile, there will be different parameters for compensating farmers whose land would be acquired for the expansion of the DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri. For instance, the land acquisition cost in Narwar village will be Rs 87,82,500 per hectare, considering the market rate and the Collector guidelines value of Rs 1.15 crore per hectare for 2025-26.
The other villages where land acquisition value has been assessed are Munjakhedi, Gawdi, Piploda Dwarkadhish, Chainpura Hanskhedi, and Madhopur. According to the calculation, revised compensation for land acquisition in these villages has been accepted.
Ten cities to be developed like Indore
In his address to the Ministers before the Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that for the next Swachh Survekshan, ten cities will be developed on the lines of Indore. To provide a platform for tourism products, Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) will be held in Bhopal from October 11-13. Before this, the Regional Tourism Conclave will be held in Gwalior (August 12-13) and in Indore (from September 20-21).
