Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 21-year-old BBA student has accused her college mate of repeatedly raping her for three years under false promise of marriage. Accused Abhishek, allegedly exploited her at different locations since 2022.
Bilkhiriya police has registered a case in this connection on the complaint of the victim. The victim in her complaint alleged that on Friday night, Abhishek along with friends Anurag and Aditya, reportedly reached the victim’s house in a drunken state, created a ruckus and tried to forcibly take her away.
When she resisted, they allegedly assaulted her. Neighbours intervened and alerted the police, forcing the trio to flee. The victim later lodged an FIR at Bilkhiriya police station. Police confirmed both the survivor and accused study at the same private college. Despite the case being registered, none of the accused has been arrested so far and investigation is underway.
Youth booked for raping minor
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth under Kolar police station. The incident came to light when the girl, shared her ordeal with family members.
According to SI Sangeeta Kajle, the victim met the accused, identified as Maniman from Minal Residency, at a party in Shahpura last December while visiting her aunt in Kolar.
During her recent visit this year, the accused allegedly entered her aunt’s house when she was alone and raped her while recording a video. He then used the footage to threaten her and raped her multiple times, the last occurring in June. The police have registered a case and launched a search for the suspect, who is on the run.
