Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A lab attendant has been arrested after being caught on CCTV doing obscene acts with a student at a girls’ college in Morena on Friday.
According to information, the incident took place at a girls’ college in the Kotwali area of Morena district.

The lab attendant, identified as Amit Sharma, was seen in the CCTV footage behaving inappropriately with a female student on the second floor of the college campus.
Some students noticed the incident and chose not to report it to the college management, fearing the matter might be suppressed. Instead, they informed the media, requesting that their names remain confidential.
They were concerned that the college authorities might try to quietly handle the situation without proper action.
When the media brought the issue to light, the college management reviewed the CCTV footage.
The video clearly showed the lab attendant involved in an obscene act with a student. When questioned, Amit Sharma admitted he was the person in the video and said he was in love with the student.
College manager Bhartiya Shukla said there was no need for further explanation, as the video made everything clear. She added that a letter would be sent to the District Collector, a disciplinary committee would meet, and a police complaint (FIR) would be filed.
Following the complaint, police reached the college and arrested Amit Sharma. The case has raised serious concerns about the safety and dignity of girl students in educational institutions.
It remains to be seen whether strict action will be taken beyond the initial arrest.
